Bozner Platz, Innsbruck
Eine urbane Oase am Wasser des Rudolfsbrunnens
Der Bozner Platz soll ein Platz werden, wie es ihn in der Innsbrucker Innenstadt noch nicht gibt. Neben der „Flaniermeile“ Maria-Theresien-Straße, dem „begehbaren Skulptur“ Landhausplatz und dem von „Gastronomie und Spielplatz“ geprägten Adolf-Pichler-Platz soll der neu gestaltete Bozner Platz ein Ort zum entspannten Verweilen im Kraftfeld des Rudolfsbrunnens werden.
Der Rudolfs Brunnen ist eine repräsentative, reich verzierte Anlage aus der Gründerzeit im Zentrum des Platzes, die durch eine entsprechende Platzzonierung wieder an Wirkung und Ausstrahlung gewinnen soll.

An urban oasis near the Rudolf Fountain
Bozner Platz has the potential to evolve into a distinctive public square in the city centre of Innsbruck. In conjunction with the promenade on Maria-Theresien-Straße, the walk-in sculpture of the Landhausplatz and Adolf-Pichler-Platz with its restaurants, bars and a playground, the redesign of Bozner Platz could become a location to relax and linger, in proximity of Rudolf fountain sculpture.
This fountain, richly ornamented and from the Wilhelmine period, occupies a central position in the square. Its impact and charisma could regain a representative role by appropriate zoning of the square.
